TOP-TOY is on a great journey, transforming our organization to ensure the customers continue to have a great and fun experience when they shop at BR and TOYS”R”US stores. We have been on a 2 year journey implementing new SAP and Spaceman systems. In addition to that, TOP-TOY has been re-organizing in the HQ in Vallensbæk to refocus our company on our top priorities for the coming years.

To join us on this journey we are looking for a passionate Space planner for TOYS”R”US ideally with retail background to strengthen and streamline the standard store drawings. The position is located at our HQ in Vallensbæk.

To bring the position close to our team that analyzes and plans our great assortment, the Space planner role is placed in our “Business Planning & Analytics” team, referring to Manager Michael L. Møhl. The role has full ownership of the TOYS”R”US standard store drawing, including input from relevant stakeholders. The standard store drawing is essential to our performance as it dictates how all of our stores will be set up, what assortment the stores will have most and least of and how marketing and strategic plans are executed.

The Space planner for TOYS”R”US will collect and analyze all available information to create the standard store drawing for TOYS”R”S. Our Executive Management Team will approve the standard store drawing ahead of a season and our commercial organization will setup assortment based on the standard store drawing.

The primary responsibilities

  • Facilitate all input to the standard drawing
  • Analyze and understand performance figures on instore space
  • Suggest changes to assortment based on instore performance
  • Present suggestions to the standard store drawing to our Executive Management Team
  • Create individual store drawings pr. store when standard store drawing is done

Who are you?

We picture you having experience from the retail business and have worked with store lay-out and Space Management. On top of that you are used to

  • Excel and Powerpoint
  • Planning and coordinating
  • Handling smaller projects
  • Work analytical

Furthermore you are highly energetic and quickly pick up knowledge and you are flexible in your way of working. You love to plan and coordinate many tasks and are driven by good business sense and delivering quality – also when things happen fast.
